1.01 Introduction
Staffme collects your personal information to enable you to use our services. This document communicates how and why your personal information is collected, stored and used.
This document is intended to be read in conjunction with the Terms and Conditions.You must accept both documents before using Staffme and by using Staffme you will be deemed to have accepted both documents.

Staffme provides a web application for:
– Employers – To post jobs and view, manage and hire candidates
– Candidates – To submit resumes and apply for jobs
In order to provide these services Staffme must collect and store information about the individuals and companies that use our software.
1.02 Direct Collection of Personal Information
Staffme may collect your personal information directly when you:
– Register with Staffme and create a profile
– Use our website
– Contact Staffme support
– Post messages on our website
– Post and/or apply for jobs
Providing your personal information is always optional, but failure to provide the relevant information may prevent you from using our service.
1.03 Indirect Collection of Personal Information
Staffme may collect personal information about others from you. This includes, but is not limited to recruitment agencies that use our service, providing information about their staff.
Any time you provide personal information about someone else to Staffme, you must ensure that you are authorised to provide that information. You must ensure that the person concerned is aware of and consents to the relevant sections in this policy, and that Staffme is authorised to use and disclose that information for the purposes outlined in this Policy, without having to take any further steps.
1.04 Purpose of Collecting Personal Information
Staffme collects, stores and uses your personal information for the following purposes:

– Communicate with you
– Notify you of changes to the service, Terms and Conditions and Privacy policy
– Provide support

By using this service you consent to your personal information being collected, stored and used in this way. Staffme will not use your personal information for ways other than those described in this policy.
Staffme may use your non-personally identifiable data to:
– Allow us to better understand our customers usage patterns

– Provide our current and potential customers with information on the use and benefits of Staffme
– Provide you with information on how to improve your performance using our service
1.05 Storage of your Personal Information
Staffme stores your personal information on servers located in the United States of America and operated by Inmotion Hosting.
By using Staffme you consent to your personal information being transferred to and stored on these servers.
1.06 Protection of your Personal Information
We cannot give assurance that your personal information will be secure at all times. By using this service you agree that your personal information is stored and used by Staffme at your own risk.
We will advise you at the first reasonable opportunity if we discover that your personal information has been accessed, lost, stolen, modified or otherwise used in an unauthorised manner.
1.07 Disclosure of your Personal Information
Staffme will only disclose your personal information if it is necessary and appropriate to do so in order for us to provide the service. This may include individuals and companies other than Staffme, for example, public employers, who are able to search staff profiles on our website. Although staffme.com.au is an Australian website, it is not limited to use within Australia. This means that your personal information may be disclosed to third parties located overseas.
Staffme will not otherwise disclose your personal to a third party unless you have provided your express consent or if we are required to do so by law. If Staffme is legally obligated to disclose your personal information without your consent, you will be notified where possible and appropriate.
1.08 Credit Card Details
Your credit card details will not be stored by Staffme and cannot be accessed by Staffme employees. Your credit card details are encrypted and stored by PayPal to enable Staffme to bill your card, either on a one off or automatically recurring basis, depending on the product that you have purchased. 1.09 Access to your Personal Information
You are responsible for ensuring that the personal information you provide us is complete, accurate and up-to-date. You may request access to the personal information we hold about you or request that we update or correct that information by writing to admin@staffme.co.nz
Staffme will process your request as soon as reasonably possible unless we are prevented from doing so on legal grounds. It we are unable to meet your request we will provide you with a reason for this. It may be unreasonable or impractical or we may have to arrange with a third party (for example, your agency) to meet your request.
1.10 Opting-Out of Email Communications
Staffme sends employer information, job notifications, product information, service updates and other notifications to you via email. All emails that aren’t essential to the provision of Staffme services will contain instructions describing how you can unsubscribe from receiving such emails. Staffme will remove you at your request.
1.11 Transfer of Data to Third Party Applications
Staffme has no control over data that has been transferred to third party applications using our service, including your personal information. It is your responsibility to make yourself aware of these applications privacy policies. You must ensure that in transferring personal data from Staffme you are not breaching this Privacy Policy or relevant laws. Staffme takes no responsibility for data that has been transferred to third party applications.
1.12 Complaints about privacy
If you would like to make a complaint about how your personal information has been collected, stored and/or used by Staffme, please write to us with details of the complaint and supporting documentation:

We will endeavour to respond within 10 working days and attempt to resolve the issue within 30 working days if reasonably possible. You will be notified if the issue is likely to take longer than this to resolve.
This Privacy Policy may be updated at any time. The updated policy will be effective from the time it is posted to the website. Staffme will attempt to communicate these changes with you via email. By continuing to use the service you will be deemed to have accepted the changes to this policy.
